The ‘Star of Armenia’, burner was created to burn and optimise the scents of the Papier d'Arménie incense paper one of the oldest room purifiers in paper form.

Instructions - tear and fold a strip of incense paper like an accordion, light the strip and allow the purifying smoke to diffuse through the dome as the incense paper slowly burns.

About
In the 19th century on a trip to Armenia, Auguste Ponsot noticed the local people scented and disinfected their homes by burning benzoin, a resin derived from the bark of trees. This traditional and ecologically-sound practice appealed and so he decided to import the product to France.
